We have used Emory Construction for two major remodeling projects in our home and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Mickey was very easy to work with and was on-site regularly to check the progress and workmanship of the job. Our home had been in the family since 1933. I wanted to make it a full time home and honor my parents, grandparents and all the summer memories. In choosing Mickey Emory I believe I was able to do this. He did many things new to him (lifted the house for 1) but met every challenge and made the 15 month renovation a happy one. He built the new garage/apt first so there was a place to stay and storage during the house renovation. Through snows(3 big ones), high tides, county regulations on a waterfront home and many other challenges he and his crew made it very easy. Mickey and his cousin, John are both carpenters at heart and the trim work inside shows. My family and I are pleased and now it has become my full time home where my children return to, often. Mickey made the renovation a labor of love which we are pleased with. He allowed me to save many parts of the “old home” to reuse in the new home. I turn to Mickey whenever I have a new project to do. When there was damage from the earth quake he was there to repair. I highly recommend Emory Construction.
When we were looking to renovate our home, we didn’t know who to use. We called the number on one of the Emory Construction signs around the neighborhood and reached Mickey. No wonder there are so many signs! Mickey does quality work for a reasonable price. Between his quality craftsmanship and the subs he uses for the job, we now have a beautiful new kitchen and great room. He transformed our house and we are so happy!
